3 Ways to Improve Your Golf Game in 5 Minutes

I have worked many years on a golf course and time and time again I see golfers making the same mistakes. In this article I will share with you three easy steps to help reduce your score and increase your enjoyment out on the course. This information comes from literally thousands of hours spent out on the course observing and talking to golfers of all abilities.
The first step before happens before you even go out on the course. It involves preparation and determination. It is simply GET IN SHAPE, think about, how many out of shape golfers or athletes do you see on TV? I know there are some exceptions, but for the most part athletes are in shape. Let's examine what the benefits are of being in shape, the first is that you will be able to walk all 18 holes, second your back won't be as sore from carrying all that extra weight, which will enhance your golf swing. Third your shoulders and arms won't get as tired easily and lastly you'll be able to swing your hips right around to get maximum power.
The second step occurs on the day and that involves preparation. Before you get out on the course make sure you drink plenty of fluids (not beer) to keep you hydrated. There is nothing worse then having your muscles cramp up and you don't have enough water to drink and you can't find the beer cart girl. Also make sure that you stretch before you get out there, don't just do a couple of practice strokes, make sure you get a good warm up and the muscles are nice and loose. Otherwise your first hole will be awful.
Lastly, keep your head down, enjoy yourself and golf with people who you enjoy being around. There is nothing worse then playing with someone who looses their temper and creates and awkward situation for the rest of the round. You might as well have stayed home and saved your money.
I hope this helps. Please check out my site for all things golf related.
